Testing Services
General Testing
We provide several mechanical tests – conventional including static tensile, impact, fatigue, creep to advanced damage tolerance fracture mechanics tests such as fatigue and creep, crack growth, fracture toughness (Linear elastic KIC, elastic-plastic JIC, Plane stress R-Curve, etc.) degradations tests, Low Cycle Fatigue (LCF) and High Cycle Fatigue (HCF), thermo-mechanical and multiaxial fatigue, high strain rate tests as per international standards (ASTM, ISO, etc.). We have the required resources and facilities to conduct tests under extreme conditions from sub-zero to elevated temperatures, including sea and corrosive environments under close to realistic service loading conditions. We have the ability to customize special tests designed for materials qualification, design, validation, and certification purposes as per the customer’s specific requirements. We support a variety of tests from specimen level to coupon to component level. Our subject matter experts have the ability to design jigs and fixtures to conduct these tests.
Virtual Testing
We have the state-of-the-art facilities and quality processes to help accelerate the materials innovation and deployment lifecycle. We conduct extensive mechanical testing activities including static, fatigue and fracture mechanics before performing durability, structure integrity and damage tolerance analysis. We perform Virtual testing by utilizing variety of simulation tools to optimize and accelerate material development before advancing to physical testing, thus saving substantial time, cost and effort. Our Virtual Testing (VT) efforts involves numerical simulations resulting substantial reduction of physical testing needed for development and certification. We utilize enhanced model-based approaches for materials characterization and testing, AI/ML driven materials databases and research platforms, exploration of new materials process / manufacture routes, and virtual testing and certification (including digital twins) to support any critical urgent needs in aerospace and defense industries.
Non Destructive Testing (NDT) Support Services
We assist aerospace and defense sector customers during the manufacturing, quality control, and assurance phase to validate structure integrity and safety of structures. We employ our meticulous and carefully deployed techniques to ensure accident prevention, enhanced product reliability, potential repair and replacement using various methods, analyzing the properties of degraded material, defects in components or structure are examined using non-invasive manner. Our comprehensive NDT service capabilities include; Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Radiography (RT), X-Ray fluorescence testing, Eddy current testing (ET), Magnetic particle testing (MT), Penetrant testing (PT), Visual testing (VT), Acoustic emission (AE), IR Thermography etc.
