Stress Analysis

Optimization

We have vast experience working with using and developing optimization schemas and software all the way from materials through products. Our materials optimization capabilities include composites optimization in terms of layups, orientation, thickness, etc. to minimize mass with constraints on stiffness and strength. At QuantumPoint, we are fully capable of taking up any Optimization assignments including part, sub-system, or at the system level. We help our customers in achieving the desired Optimization in mass, stiffness, strength, and frequency resulting in reduced mass of the aircraft to carry the maximum possible payload and increased fuel efficiency.    

Aircraft Stress Analysis

We provide comprehensive structural analysis in aircraft design including linear, non-linear, static, dynamic, and impact simulations. Our subject matter experts have decades of experience in performing structural mechanics for the aerospace industry, working with a variety of materials and structures. We have specific experience in developing custom software for such simulations, besides using a variety of readily available commercial software packages. Currently, we have been involved in developing Digital Twins to combine analysis with test data. We have the ability to provide any or specific structural simulations including fretting, fatigue, and fracture-related issues. 

Buckling

We have extensive experience in performing buckling analysis to achieve reserve factors while designing aircraft structures. We analyze both normal loads and shear loads to have specific buckling strength. In addition, we have significant experience in performing buckling simulations for space-based antennas to qualify such designs under buckling loading.
